ROBINSON ISLAND

Robinson island is about 40 minutes away from Malindi, before arriving there you will follow a unpaved road on the salt pans, a place frequented by various species of birds including ibis herons and pink flamingos.
You will cross the lagoon in a canoe to reach the opposite bank, the canoe is piloted by "Caronte", an African man who offers to the tourists several Italian songs.
Finally you will arrive at Robinson Island, quite particular! After a walk on the beach for lunch you will reach a beautiful restaurant decorated in a typical African style.
In the location you will eat a tasty lunch made of oysters, clams, very large crabs, rice with coconut sauce, prawns, salad, fruit and at the end the African tea.
After lunch you can relax on a huge sun bed full of maxi pillows.
You will dedicate an entire day to this excursion.

    Mida Creek Watamu

    Mida Creek is a broadwater tidal creek surrounded by extensive mangroves and lined with palms. It’s better to explore Mida by boat, on a cruise through the creek while the sun goes down.
    If you are interested in kayak the creek is the perfect place with endless small channels and passages through the mangroves to explore where kingfishers hunt in the shallow waters and fish eagles perch in the overhead trees.
